As expected the 2018 walleye fishing has been fantastic. Turtle reef and points West to crane creek have been good. The fish have spawned out and are moving into deeper water . Good catches are happening at L can and Big Pickerel reef . May and June were incredible North of West Sister North to the border. D can to Niagra reef was also a good spot. Limits came easily with the large number of fish. trolling 40 jets and spoons was most productive at 65’ back. The trawl numbers are in for 2018 walleye and perch hatches the walleye hatch is the second largest on record nearing the 2003 hatch. With 112 walleye per hectare 20 year average has been 27 fish per hectare. The next years to come will be incredable
